Port Austin's Girls Weekend: A Sparkling Success
This year's Girls Weekend was a sparkling success! With a "Glitter and Glam" theme, the annual event drew women from near and far to whoop it up in our lakeshore town of Port Austin. This highly anticipated event invites women to escape for a weekend filled with exciting activities, shopping, and unforgettable experiences in our charming town. From art classes to pickleball matches, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A highlight of the weekend was Ladies Bingo. Participants played for a chance to win an impressive assortment of prizes generously donated by Chamber members, Village Green Shops, and Farmers Market Vendors. Our talented host, Dennis Hafeli, donned in Hollywood style, shined on stage, assisted by his wife, Dawn Hafeli, who carefully tracked the bingo numbers.

We are thrilled to announce that Jeni Franzel was crowned the 2024 Bingo Queen and will proudly ride in the 4th of July Parade next year! A huge congratulations to Jeni, and a heartfelt thank you to all of our bingo sponsors. Winners were thrilled to take home the amazing prize donations.
