Classic Cars and Community: A Carfest Recap
Thank you to our sponsors!
Carfest returned to Port Austin on September 7th bringing together a dazzling array of classic cars and hot rods!
Held in the old gym parking lot, the event drew enthusiasts who gathered to admire the vintage vehicles and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Organized by Casey Bruce and Lee Sylvester, known for their ability to create unforgettable shows, Carfest was a resounding success.
2 Days Gone rocked the beer tent with their energetic performance while food trucks, Frank-N-Bones and Another One Bites the Crust, offered delicious treats including smash burgers and deep-fried cheesecakes.
A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers; Megan Ruthko, Pam Haines, Dave Kady, Steve and Michelle Radlinski, Embry Fura, and Cindy Wagner, whose hard work helped make Carfest a success. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Department of Public Works for their tireless efforts in setting up fencing, tables, and the stage.
Finally, we want to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors who donated prizes for Carfest participants. Special recognition goes to our top sponsors: Osentoski Realty, Century 21 Babcock Realty, Lakeside Motor Lodge, Gene Clancy & Sons, and Lewisville Smoke. Thank you for your generous contributions!
We look forward to seeing you all again next year for another unforgettable event!
