The Port Austin American Legion Auxiliary Post #499 is a dedicated group of motivated and community-driven women working together to support veterans, service members, and the local community. As part of the American Legion, the nation’s largest veterans organization, the Auxiliary is committed to advocacy, outreach, and service for those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Members meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., fostering camaraderie while organizing initiatives that strengthen both the veteran community and the greater Port Austin area.

The Port Austin Legion is a welcoming space featuring great food, a full bar, live entertainment, and community events. While the Legion is exclusively for members, select special events are open to the public. Anyone interested in supporting the Legion's mission is encouraged to visit and become a member.
