The Lake Orion, MI-based musical duo O’Dwyer Brothers will perform Live on Stage at the Port Austin Farmers Market on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
The O'Dwyer Brothers have performed Irish, folk, and classic rock in Michigan for over 30 years. Tom and Neil O'Dwyer, grandchildren of Dan Dwyer from North Branch, Michigan, learned at an early age from family on the farm that music is a perfect way to bring friends together. Singing in the Lake Orion High School choir and barbershop quartet helped them develop skills in harmonizing that would later serve them well in professional music settings. Joining Neil on Banjo and Tom on guitar, a variety of additional musicians add a bass, mandolin, pennywhistle, fiddle, and lead guitar. Song styles ranging from an Irish pub, folk ballads, and 70’s rock will surely delight you. So, bring your family, friends, and your dancin' shoes!
The entertainment begins at 10 a.m. downtown at the stage adjacent to the historic gymnasium during the Farmers Market. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the free concert during Market hours.
