Nightmare on Lake Street
The popular Haunted Hayride, Nightmare on Lake Street, held on the last two Saturdays of October. Brave souls embark on a spooky tour around the village, encountering chilling tales and good scares at various stops along the way. We encourage riders to dress warmly for this eerie adventure!
The 2024 Nightmare experience offers two rides. Families and children can enjoy the 7:00pm “scare friendly” ride. While the 8:00pm ride is a true nightmare for riders 14+.
Pre-registration is required for this event. Spaces are limited and seat sell out fast!

Trick or Treating
Trick-or-treating follows from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, offering a safe and enjoyable way for kids to collect treats from local businesses and residents. It's a spooktacular celebration you won't want to miss!
Halloween Costume Parade
For the younger crowd, Halloween festivities continue with the Kids Halloween Costume Parade through the Village of Port Austin. Starting at the Village Green and led by the Port Austin Police Department, children don their favorite costumes and parade north on Lake Street to the Welcome
Center.

Volunteer to be a scare actor at one of the haunted locations and help enhance the spooky fun for riders.
