Gallup Park offers modern recreational facilities, including tennis courts, baseball diamonds, basketball court, and a new ice rink during the winter months. The park's large pavillion near Port Austin Road is a great spot for family get-togethers.
The annual Art in the Park event is held on Labor Day weekend at Gallup Park. This juried art show from the Thumb Arts Guild offers something for everyone. Artwork includes glass, photography, wood, watercolor, oils, acrylics, pottery, jewelry, wearable art, ornamental bird houses, iron works, fibers and many more.
Ice Rink
Opened in 2020, the Port Austin Ice Rink is located in Gallup park and open to the public.
