Farmers Market Vendor and Visitor COVID-19 Rules 2021

  1. No music; no customer seating in the immediate market area

  2. No product sampling

  3. Vendors must police their own lines to ensure 6’ between customers

  4. We will limit the numbers of customers in the market at any one time using the MFMA Calculation on Square Footage

  5. Food vendors have to package items and items cannot be eaten in working market areas

  6. Vendors will be spread out down State Street and in the Gym Parking Lot(s)

  7. Vendors must display products so customers cannot touch them

  8. The Village will set up hand sanitizing stations around the market

  9. Vendors should wear masks.  Vendors handling money must wear gloves.  Sneeze guards are encouraged.

  10. Regularly disinfect high touch areas if for some reason you find that you have any

  11. In anticipation of potentially using both Gym Parking Lots, all vendors must park at Port Austin State Bank or the Church

  12. Signs will be placed around market reminding people of the following guidance:
       • Please follow social distancing protocols
       • Wear a mask if you can
       • Maintain a six foot radius around you and yours at all times
       • Please provide exact change or credit/debit card
       • Use sanitizer as necessary
       • Keep moving and exit quickly upon completing shopping
       • Do not loiter or socialize
       • No pets allowed
